5 Toys That Became Valuable Collectibles
Do you think of toys as being just for playing? Think of it again. What kids used to throw around in playgrounds or toss into toy boxes are now worth more than cars or even a full vacation. No one had the foresight of how much some toy items would increase in value, and a few very select ones that have done so, which were once considered merely a form of entertainment, are now valuable collector's items.

Many people know that an item classified as "collectible," once considered nothing more than a "toy," will likely be a valuable acquisition if demand for it exists today, creating an environment for increased future demand.
Realistically, the true hidden gem of collectible toys is often found in people's closets today. New toys produced today may become collectible, and their value will most likely appreciate with age. You may currently have an object of value much greater than you are aware of; therefore, it would be prudent to re-examine the storage containers of your childhood memories before disposing of them.
